The olives for our award winning Puranda extra virgin oil grow in our orchards without the use of chemicals or pesticides – only what the soil of mother earth provides.

We press and bottle our olive oil within 8 hours to harness the full health benefits and fresh taste of our olives - our Extra virgin olive oil comes from the tree directly into the bottle.

Before you taste the Puranda extra virgin olive oil don't forget to take in its fresh smell and take note of the scent of freshly cut grass and hints of the smell of pine trees that are growing in our orchards. Our Puranda premium olive oil will gently caress your taste buds with its fresh and mildly fruity taste with notes of fresh herbs. In case you wonder about the slight bitterness in the back of your throat and peppery notes, especially in the aftertaste: these are signs of the high level of polyphenols (the "good stuff" in the olive oil which gives many health benefits) contained in our olive oil.

The premium olive oil that goes into each Puranda bottle is low in oleic acid (max. 0,4%), and has very high levels of polyphenols and Vitamin E which are helping to reduce oxidative stress in your body's cells. It also has very low peroxide values at time of pressing, indicating purity and freshness of the olives at the time of pressing.
Our dark glass bottles are given an additional layer of white coating for our Puranda special edition (think of it as an additional layer of sun screen) to rule out any damaging impact of UV light for our premium olive oil.

Before bottling our Puranda extra virgin olive oil, it is stored in impermeable, stainless steel tanks for several weeks, allowing the olive oil to naturally settle and develop its complex flavour profile.

We are in the process of obtaining organic certification for our product - from the very beginning of our journey we have refrained from the use of chemicals or pesticides and our farm is run 100% organic.
